Sussex oval Trug

Handcrafted from willow strips and boards, held together by galvanised staple pins. Complete with handle, sturdy feet, and rim.

These trugs are hand made to a very high standard, the frame is made from sweet chestnut coppiced in Sussex. english grown cricket bat willow is used for the boards.  The trugs are useful for absolutely anything, ranging from a decorative piece in your home to using in your garden to collect vegtables or flowers, carrying tools etc. They are very strong and durable.

The (medium) size trug is a nice size, approximately 20 x 11 inches / 51 x 28 cms , not too big.
