LEUCOPHYTA BROWNII | CUSHION BUSH | AUSTRALIAN GARLAND FLOWER |

SILVER THREAD | WIRE NETTING BUSH

Leucophyta brownii is a small compact dense plant with striking silver white downy stems and tiny scale-like silver-grey fragrant leaves, in late summer bearing small, pale yellow flowers ageing to dull cream. This little plant is usually used for outdoor gardens, but it is great for table displays at Christmas and popping a little silver colour into your plant collection.

This is fantastic hardy 'Silver Thread' plant that's an ideal choice for seasonal planters with a unique form, colour and texture. Great to use combined with other plants to provide a contrast in form and colour, from colourful Heucheras to Black Ornamental Grasses, it forms a small mound of ghostly silvery-white twisted foliage and stems.

Plant care

Your plant's pot should have holes in the bottom so it is able to drain water easily.

If reusing a pot that had other plants in it, it is recommended you wash the pot, killing any mould or bacteria.

Do not over water your plant as the roots will rot.

Most plants need to be kept by a good source of natural light.

You should fertilise your plant every two months. You can use all purpose fertiliser.

Any dead or fallen leaves should be removed to prevent bacteria and mould. Dead branches should also be removed.
